Our 1-day Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) course provides employees with the essential skills and confidence to respond quickly and effectively in workplace emergencies. Delivered by qualified instructors in Hull, this accredited training is ideal for low-risk businesses across Hull and East Yorkshire that require trained first aiders on site. This practical, hands-on course teaches learners how to assess emergency situations, provide life-saving treatment and manage incidents until professional help arrives. It meets the requirements of the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 and is widely recognised across all industries. What the EFAW Course Covers: Primary survey and assessing an emergency CPR and use of an AED Managing an unconscious casualty Choking, seizures and shock Bleeding control and wound management Minor injuries (burns, scalds, cuts, sprains) Employer and employee responsibilities Upon successfully completing the course, learners will receive an accredited Emergency First Aid at Work certificate valid for 3 years.
