Our Blended Learning First Aid at Work (FAW) Requalification course is designed for existing first aiders who need to renew their full FAW qualification efficiently and with minimal disruption to their work schedule. Delivered through a mix of interactive online learning and practical, face-to-face training in Hull, this flexible requalification option is ideal for businesses across Hull and East Yorkshire. This course updates and refreshes essential first aid skills, ensuring learners maintain the competence and confidence to respond effectively in a wide range of workplace emergencies. It fully meets the requirements of the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 and is HSE-compliant. What the Blended FAW Requalification Covers: Updated first aid legislation and responsibilities CPR and AED use (including changes since previous qualification) Managing an unresponsive casualty Severe bleeding, shock and choking Fractures, sprains and soft tissue injuries Burns, scalds, eye injuries and wounds Major medical conditions (asthma, diabetes, anaphylaxis, seizures) Incident reporting and workplace first aid protocols How Blended Learning Works: Online Learning (Day 1): Complete interactive e-learning modules at your own pace. We will send out the links to this upon booking. Practical Training (Day 2): Attend a face-to-face session with one of our experienced first aid trainers in Hull to demonstrate practical skills and complete the final assessment. Certification: On successful completion, learners receive a renewed First Aid at Work certificate valid for another 3 years.
