Service Description

Mini Medics® – First Aid for Children Give your child the confidence to help in an emergency with our fun, practical Mini Medics® session. Designed for children aged 7+, this three-hour course introduces essential first-aid skills using simple, age-appropriate language and plenty of hands-on activities. Children will learn why first aid matters and what they can safely do if someone becomes ill or injured. During the session, children will learn about: Staying safe and assessing an emergency How and when to call 999 Checking if someone is responsive and breathing The recovery position Performing CPR How a defibrillator (AED) works Helping someone who is choking Wounds, bleeding and other common first-aid situations The session is educational, practical and designed to build confidence without using frightening scenarios or confusing medical terminology. Each child will receive their own Mini Medics® workbook and a certificate of attendance to celebrate becoming a Mini Medic! Duration: 3 hours Suitable for: Children aged 7+ No previous experience required Mini Medics® is an introductory children’s course and not a regulated first-aid qualification.
