Which first aid course do I need?

Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) is commonly suitable for lower-risk workplaces, while the three-day First Aid at Work (FAW) course provides more extensive training for higher-risk environments. Schools, nurseries and childcare providers may require Paediatric First Aid. We can help you choose following a first aid needs assessment.

How much does a first aid course cost in Hull?

Individual places on our one-day Emergency First Aid at Work course cost £89 per person, and our three-hour BLS course is £29 per person, with 10% off when more than one place is booked together. Prices vary for other qualifications. On-site group training is available for businesses and can often be more cost-effective when several employees require the same course.

How long does a first aid course take?

Emergency First Aid at Work normally takes one day, while the full First Aid at Work qualification takes three days. First Aid at Work Requalification takes two days, and the full Paediatric First Aid course requires 12 hours of training, which may include blended learning. Shorter CPR, AED and first aid awareness sessions are also available.

Can individuals book a first aid course in Hull?

Yes. Individuals and smaller numbers of employees can book places on our scheduled first aid courses at our Hull training venue. This allows businesses to train staff individually without releasing the whole team for training on the same day.

Our workplace and paediatric first aid qualifications are accredited through First Aid Awards and regulated by Ofqual where applicable. Successful learners receive a nationally recognised certificate, normally valid for three years. We also offer non-accredited awareness sessions where a formal qualification is not required.
